What Our Mount Freedom Burst Pipe Cleanup Team Handles
Here's the full scope of what our Mount Freedom Burst Pipe Cleanup specialists handle on every job.
Emergency Source Control & Shutoff
Time spent searching for the shutoff valve is time the water runs. We know this.
High-Velocity Water Extraction
After source control, high-volume extraction removes the standing water and saturated surface materials as fast as possible. Our Mount Freedom burst pipe crew uses truck-mounted extraction systems for high-volume situations and portable extractors for confined spaces. After visible water is removed, we run weighted carpet wands, floor squeegees, and cavity extraction on wall framing to pull as much residual moisture as possible before structural drying equipment is staged. The more you extract, the faster and more complete the structural drying cycle.
Thermal Imaging Moisture Mapping
FLIR thermal cameras and calibrated pin-type and non-penetrating moisture meters map the full extent of water migration through your Mount Freedom property's structural assemblies. Burst pipe water moves through wall cavities and floor systems rapidly and can saturate framing far from the visible wet surface. Our Mount Freedom moisture mapping creates a documented baseline — showing exactly where the water went, how saturated it is, and how far from the rupture point the damage extends. This map drives the drying scope and the insurance documentation.
Wall Cavity & Structural Assembly Drying
Wall cavity drying is where most burst pipe jobs either succeed completely or fail at the last 10%.
Burst Pipe Insurance Claim Coordination
Burst pipe damage is typically a covered peril under standard homeowner's policies in NJ, provided it was sudden and accidental — as opposed to slow leak damage, which most carriers exclude. Our Mount Freedom claim coordinators know the language and documentation requirements that lead to approved scopes and know how to document the event timeline in a way that clearly supports the sudden-loss language most policies require. We file the claim, coordinate the adjuster, and follow the settlement through to completion.
Post-Drying Reconstruction
Once every structural assembly has been confirmed dry by instrument reading, our licensed Mount Freedom reconstruction team rebuilds: drywall replacement and finish, fresh paint, flooring reinstallation, baseboard and trim, and any cabinetry affected by the pipe location. If the pipe burst behind cabinetry, we coordinate cabinet reinstallation after the repair is complete. All reconstruction work uses the same Xactimate line-item format as the mitigation scope — so your insurer sees one integrated claim file, not separate invoices from separate contractors.
